Peacemaker National Training Center Long Range Challenge

    RE: http://peacemakernational.com/events...nt&eventID=180

I am thinking of participating in this match and was wondering if anyone else has done so? I'm curious as to what I should expect and what I should bring for it (besides the rifle, ammo, spotting scope, and hydration)?

    Thanks in advanced!!

Looks like a good time. Maybe if I get back stationed on the East coast I'll try to get out to this one. With 1200yds shots I would want a 260rem or 6.5CM at the minimum. Make sure you bring enough gear for a long day. A range chair or lawn chair that you can attach to a pack would probably be handy during waiting times.

It sounds like a general long range competition, but in field conditions. Be prepared in case the firing line doesn't allow for a perfect prone position. or you may want elbow and knee pads in case it's in a rocky area. A rear squeeze bag would be highly beneficial because they are light and transportable. I'm kind of just thinking off the top of my head, but there is always something you wish you had with you when you go to a new shooting environment.
