    Convert 10FP-SR to use DBM

I just found a 10FP-SR yesterday, and I'm looking to put a decent stock on it. I would also like to convert from the original stock's blind magazine to a detachable magazine setup. Is there a stock out there (at a working man's price) that will do this, or do I need to look into some kind of customization? Do I have to go full tactical mode like an XLR Evolution chassis?

HS Precision should work I know they have them for a 4.4 spacing for a DBM, you can get the DBM at midway for about $50, I have done this on a model 10 varmit, go to Stockys Stocks they carry the HS Precision for about $360, I have 3 of them.

    Thanks for the reply!

Would I have to buy a bottom metal kit as well? I haven't seen any for a 4.4" centerfeed Savage.

    Convert 10FP-SR to use DBM

Hmm, I found the bottom metal kit on stockys for $350 (claims to be only for Rem700), all together I'd spend just shy of the cost of the XLR chassis. :-/ Searching on midway usa I'm not finding any bottom metal kits.

I went with the MDT LSS chassis. Still more than I wanted to spend, and not sure about the style, but it should shoot well enough for my needs.

You should check out PDC Custom as well. They also have a pretty good chassis set up.
