    Big boar hog

Got this one with my 22 250 last night. Shot em behind the shoulder with a 60 gr bt, ran about ten yards and piled up.
I usually use ttsx in the lil guns but been playing around with these heavier bt's and starting to like them a lot.
This hog weighed 350 lbs on the dot on 2 different sets scales.

Nah ya didn't, everybody knows no 22 cal bullet will kill a pig that big. Good grief.

Amazing what them little Barnes bullets will do isn't it? Was it a pass through shot or did you recover the bullet?

This one was shot with a 60gr ballistic tip. Lol. Been playing around with em for a while, them suckers are bad in a 22 250. But I do like Barnes. I've killed truck loads of hogs with em.

Thats a BIG hog right there. How far of a shot was it with your 22-250? I went down to South Caroline last month and killed a nice 100pd boar for the freezer with dogs, hog hunting is a blast. What state are you killing your hogs in?

Its a 10 predator. The camo wrap was coming off the barrel so I striped it and sprayed it with aluma hyde.

The bullet broke a couple ribs going in, didn't exit of course but did a good bit of damage. I mostly use ttsx in the small cal. guns but the 60gr bt seems to be dang deadly.
