It has the rear round receiver, so it is almost surely a centerfeed. Great snag. The action is worth more than that.

Does anyone know if there is an off the shelf medium to varmint profile 30-06 barrel?

Gunshack has ER Shaw 06 varmint contour barrels in stock.

Also check out Apache Gun Works. He has a 3006 full bull listed on eBay right now.
