    savage 10 predator max 1 6.5 creedmoor

Iam considering buying the 6.5 creedmoor instead of the pc 10 5R. My only concern is ammo . What kind of accuracy is everyone getting out of this rifle.

No two rifles shoot the same, and no two boxes of ammo are loaded the same.
I did a write-up speaking to this on Shooters yesterday..
I screwed a E.R. Shaw with a tight spot near the muzzle, onto a XL7 action.
4 in the group, and one dialed right. Even "problem" barrels have the ability to outshoot 98% of shooters who are looking for info on group sizing.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

I I own the predator max 1 in 6.5 x 284. I love the gun but it has one big problem - the forend of this stock is not rigid enough. For $800 you can get a savage precision carbine with a better, full bed , non savage stock in 6.5 creedmore for an equivalent price and barrel length. If I did this over again I would start with this gun instead.

This comes with a full bed HS Precision stock.

My Predator max 1 shoots great but I have to be forward on my bags putting any rifle weight to the rest as far back as possible. I have invested in a nice optic (Trijicon 5 x20), quality rings, and am painstaking about my handloads BUT the weakness in this rifle, which I will remedy, is a far to flexible forend and it kills accuracy if the stock compresses to the barrel.

Most of my shooting with this rifle is from a bipod and I have zero issues with the forend. The Precision Carbine has the same stock as my Predator which is the Accustock, just a different camo pattern.
