Ditto on the very nice from above. I'll bet that baby will make some bug eye groups! I am looking to get a barrel for one of mine as well. What length is your barrel, and twist? Congrats and enjoy! I'm sure you will. 7STW

Barrel is 28" with a 1 in 8" twist. I have a new bolt, trigger, scope, and a few other things coming for SSS. Hopefully I will have everything by next weekend.

    Giving up already . . .

I've got a hundred rounds loaded yesterday... (120gr Sierra's and 129gr Hornaday SST) 5 different loads in the 120's using Ramshot Hunter and Varget in the 129's....

I have the same barrel without the flutes.....

6.5-20x50 LR/T varmint reticule Leupold, Farrel base, Leupold rings....

Tommorow is supposed to be nice so I'm headed for the Desert.....

I'm still working up loads, I've got some Berger VLD's coming...

I've only got 50rnds through it, barrel is just broken in... now to work on loads.....
The rifle is going back to SSS in a month or so, to get the action T&T and a SS Trigger job.... and a muzzle brake, maybe I'll have them flute the barrel at the same time? Finally, one of the Laminated Stocks sometime this fall.... The Choate is a great stock, but heavy. The rifle is front heavy as it is.... but I love it....

Just got bolt back from SSS, had it fluted.....

I ordered the same bolt from Fred. I am mainly going to break mine in today, but stay in touch and I will let you know what load is working for me!

This is the most excited I have been in awhile!

PATRICK: Bewarel, were on the way!!!!!!!
