RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.

How does it work? Is it an anvil and punch or something?

Yes That's basically it in a nut shell, there is no hammering just tapping into shape.

So if the pocket's loosening was, before, a case's ultimate death sentence, what's left? What do you expect out of them with this thing?

Everyone's case is different "pardon the pun" but if you spent a lot of time prepping your brass, even if you only got one more firing out of that case, in the long run it would still be worth it, as for me it will be worth between 3 and 6 firings, I have been gluing them for a long time, so that will save me 5 bucks a tube of glue and the mess.
