    Savage model 3D


    Looking for any info on this Savage model 3D 22. that I just picked up. Do not know much about this old guns. Can not find a serial #. Would like to know about when it was made and what it might be worth.

    Picture isn't showing up but an average single shot Savage rimfire is anywhere from $50-$150 depending on condition, usually about $80 on average.

    I paid $125.00 for my 3D, which I felt was too much, but I wanted one (shown at top, above two Model 5's).



    Notice the cast aluminum triggerguard. Models with flat plate steel triggerguards are generally pre-WWII and are generally worth more, if in decent shape.
