    New Savage 10TR Painted

Just about done painting the new Savage 10TR 20", just need to let the paint dry tonight and clear coat tomorrow. First time painting anything like this, pretty nerve wracking putting the spray paint on a brand new rifle, not gonna lie. Very happy with the way it turned out though. Will probably look into painting the new 10/22 TDT here soon as well.

Used a stone texture for the stock, will have to see how durable it is with the clear coats. Right now it's fairly fragile/flaky. Rustoleum camo paint (tan, green, brown) for the patterns with reeds and pine needles.

Yep first time. I read a few different threads on here and went to town. Unfortunately I haven't gotten the painting PME from the USMC, or else I'm sure it'd be a lot better.

I can see the project rifle in the first 2 photos, but it seems to have disappeared in the third photo.
