    Stevens 200

    Hey guys.
Just bought a new stevens 200 in .308 (love it!) I've pretty much always been a remy guy but was wanting to get a good budget rifle to upgrade slowly for a long range rig and this fit the bill. I don't really know a lot about the savage so I need a lil help.
My question is will a non accutrigger rifle fit in an accustock?
    And what barrel/trigger works best?
    Thanks Kevin.

Best advice I can give you is become a paid member here and read all the articles pertaining to Savage Centerfire rifles. You will learn just about everything you want to know as to working on your rifle.

Yes your rifle can be made to fit in an accu-stock with some modifications, but why do you want to? There are some better alternatives out there that are easier, better, and very affordable. As to a barrel, get ahold of Apache Gunworks or Northland Shooters Supply. Apache builds some of the best barrels I've had yet and his attention to detail is top notch. NSS sells some of the better big names of prefit barrels such as Shilen and Criterion (CBI). I like CBI and have one in 6BR and it is a shooter. Either guy will take good care of you.
