Hello men, I've got a late '90s, pre accu-trigger, wood stock 110.
Never had torqued the action screws before today.
I removed the barreled action to relieve a small area contacting the barrel nut, re-assembled, torqued to 30 in/lbs and bolt wouldn't hardly close to battery with a round. Backed it down to 22 in/lbs and all seems well.
What's up with this? Can anyone help?

Agreed. That front action screw needs trimmed. I file or sand it down one thread.

Just the front one. It breaks into the spot where the lug rotates. Its binding

Lol no. Pull your bolt the side of the lug may be scratched thats about it. As long as you didn't really force the bolt hard to try and close it you'll be fine.
Just trim the screw and you should be good. Doubt you even need to remove a full thread
FYI: without pillars, you will keep compressing the wood and keep binding,
one quick solution could be be add a washer to spread the pressure of the screw
