I've seen the carbide full sizing die that cost $4,434.99 and you'll get the seater die 50% off... shipping would be $500 via Burro Express... lol

Scope Eye is currently trying to neck that one down to .25, when he gets back from his mini vacation he should have range reports.

Haha you beat me to it. I was going to say scope eye is loading it to the top with retumbo then sitting it next to blast sites to settle powder before topping it off with powder to use his payloader to seat a round "slightly compressed".

What is that thing? I'd love to have a dummy round of that as a conversation piece, or for scrap!

It looks like a 28cm SK L/45 -50 cartridge casing, but it's hard to tell.

    105 Howletser (sc)
Ive had it laying around for the past 32 yrs.
I used to store umbrellas in it. Its a defenet conversational piece.
If you look inside the shell, you can see a small tube in the center that goes from the base (elect primer) to almost the lenght of the shell. I presume the tube is there for even ignition of the propellant......I can only wonder how much is used to launch that 105mm

When I was in the Corps, the rangemaster gave us a couple of those monsters. When it came time to rotate back to the States, they wouldn't let us ship em in our personal effects...kind of hard to fit in a SAS (self addressed stamped envelope) so goodbye umbrella stand...dang it!!

Everyone knows that whenever you want to showcase a round, you always have to put a 223 beside it for dramatic effect, now go stand in the corner and think about what you have done.

RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.
