I agree that is ridiculous, and I truly feel your pain.

Having said that, why not just go to the hardware store? I've done it before... I got nickel plated bolts once or twice. They worked fine as far as I can tell.

Maybe because I don't know what the heck I am talking about! LOL
    Oh, well.

12-32's are rare to start with, and even rarer in the right head style and length. Do yourself a favor and re-tap the holes to 1/4-28 and don't look back.

If you go drill & tap method, and 1/4-28 are not available, 6 MM fine thread will work.

Try Midway, I ordered some awhile back. Not sure about shipping. I might even have one or two left if I can find them. If you dont have any luck Ill send you mine if I can find them.

Remarkable that people suggest places like McMaster-Carr....MSC....Graingers..... Fastenal...etc..... *without* first checking if they have them. You would *expect* an industrial fastener supply source such as these to be able provide a 12-32 bolt..... but if you CHECK..... they DO NOT have this size. Forget about Home Depot or Lowes.

If you were in USA...the best sources are Savage, DIP and Midway. Period.

The next question is then to go to these 3 places...and see what their shipping policy is to Canada.

Lastly, some good souls here in USA can get these for you, and be the straw-man to get these to you. I don't know why this is so hard...but the idiot size used by Savage...and their general lack of availability, makes such steps necessary.

Already done brotha, sent with love from the dirty jersey... Even split the shipping on my bipod locking nut handle for my Harris!

Let me know if you ever need any other parts, my northern neighbors!

You guys are awesome!I'm seriously considering buying a Boyds stock for my FV-SR and when I need the longer screws I'll know where to look.
