    Cerakote before and after

I have a rifle that I bought and the original owner decided to cerakote is an awfully ugly OD green. I bead blasted everything, and then got the action oxidized. The barrel was originally stainless, and the receiver was originally blue. It's has a 7mm mag Shilen barrel, EGW 20moa base. Leupold Mk4 rings, Leupold Mk4 6.5-20x50 illuminated tmr reticle, and it's bedded in a Choate tactical stock. I really like how the finished product turned out. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures.

    Before:

    After:

The original cerakote was applied poorly. It had runs in it, and quite a few scratches. My pictures don't do it justice now.

You definitely improved the looks a bunch. I'm really surprised nobody grabbed it when you had it on the market, as it had a lot of potential. It has even more now.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. I should have just done it in the first place and I wouldn't have even thought about selling it.

I like the new look a lot, I see what you mean with a poor cerakote job, but the new stock is also a nice upgrade.

It'll be interesting, the old stock was heavier, so felt recoil now is going to be a little higher.

I actually like the before better, but the pic doesn't show the runs in the cerakote.

The original was a Choate Ultimate Sniper stock, the current stock is a Choate tactical
