Any experience with Federal PowerShok 180gr (in 30-06)?

I plan on hunting deer, elk, hog, possible black bear (100-400 yards) with it using Savage 11/111 trophy hunter with 22 inch barrel. I also want to use this cartridge to learn shooting medium and long range (up to 800-1000 yards). Looks very affordable, and reviews I've seen are decent. What do you guys think?

It's a cheap round, and, not a premium one at that.
I'd plan for less than optimal accuracy if I were you. I just took a box of these same bullets, last night in fact, and ran them through my Hornady concentricity gauge. I had to correct a lot of bullet runout which is a factor in accuracy.
If you really want to shoot longer ranges then I would look at reloading if I were you. Also, out past 300 Yards you will likely want a boat tailed bullet. 800 Yards is a long poke. While some factory ammo, match, will get you there when you start getting out that far you quickly see the benefits of using hand loaded rounds.
