24c in need of trigger work.

    Hello Folks,

I am the proud owner of 3 Savages: 311H SxS, a 99 EG in .300 Savage and now a M-24 Camper (24c). Each one is a fun, historic gun. My primary interest today is in finding a way to improve the trigger on a newly acquired 24c 20ga/22LR

With a very firm grip and a strong trigger finger this is a fun gun and accurate--but the trigger pull has got to be 15 pounds. Any suggestions or pointers to gunsmiths would be appreciated.

    Any ideas?

    FS

Seeing as how it's not an adjustable trigger there aren't a lot of options.

You can try to polish the to meshing parts but don't take any metal off as you might take to much and turn it into a hair trigger.
