    Accuracy Expectation

I have a Savage Mod 12 LRP in 260 Rem. Last year I shot a 14.625" 10 shot group at 1040 yards, and a 5 shot group <6". I used a 142gr Sierra. The rifle is stock and groups were shot at 20x on the scope. What is the accuracy potential of this rifle as it is?

Its probably a 1/2 moa gun. Could possibly do better than that. At this point it now becomes the operator. From load development to sending it. Have fun!

1/2 inch groups at 100m (109yds) with 140 Berger Hybrids, The 142 Sierras are 1 to 3/4" moa at 100m. I have done nothing with neck tension with this rifle, I guess its next on the list.

This gun should shoot under .5 moa consistently with a little more work.
