In any case, when modifying firearms, I may get advise from someone else, but the proof of the pudding is not what they think, but what works for me in my situation.

There are manufacturing tolerances involved, so perhaps a modification that works on someone else's rifle will not work on mine. It is up to ME to prove to myself that a modification works and is safe for me to use.

Trust, but verify.
