Replacement barrel for Mod 12 F t/r

Anyone have any experience/opinion using a Douglas XX premium barrel, 1-10 twist, as replacement for .308 F t/r?

I can tell you that their CS is second to none.
The gun smith I bought the barrel from CS almost non existent. Don't ask I won't tell who.
Have a 308 22" or 24" still in the shipping tube (used a CBI instead). The 250 Savage 18" is incredible with 100gr. bullets.
