Savage/Stevens M30

I'm thinking about buying a Savage M30 falling block .22. Is there anything I should know about them? When were they made? How similar are they to the old Stevens 1915?

Search for other posts about the 30G. I love mine. The were built in Ontario until 2010 or 2011. Bought mine in 2003. It is a solid little gun and great shooter. It has introduced many newbies to shooting.
