    First build trigger question

I've decided to do my first build. It's going to be a long term project but first thing is first I have to find a donor rifle. My dad has an 1963 110 I was going to buy from him but it has a trigger I have never seen. I'm wondering if it can be replaced with a modern timney or SSS. If I can figure out how to post pics I will.

Edit: forgot to ask if I was wasting my time should just buy a rifle with an accu trigger.

The standard Timney for the 110 should work fine. I've put two in on older 110's with no prolems. No idea about SSS except they seem to be very good units. Can't imagine anyone on this forum just up and buying a rifle for one part....laffin. kb

You may want to read THIS as it pertains to rifles made between 1958 and 1965 as they have a totally different trigger system.

I'm new here so it won't let me read it. I don't know what I have to do to get access.

Gb1206.....you have to be a paid member to utilize certain parts of the forum. Best $15 you will spend. Boots, thanks, I had just started looking for year of MFG differences, figured there must be one or more after I ran off at the mouth.....er, keyboard. I think the oldest one I had done was an early '70s but I've slept since then. Plus, that was long before I developed a barrel nut addiction. kb

Yup, some of the sections require you to be a paid member, I didn't even think about that. I agree with COplains, it will be the Best $15 you'll spend if you are going to build and tinker with Savages.
