    Reloading 6.5 creedmoor

Let me first say I have always reloaded only pistol ammo for years.I have a RCBS Rockchucker from the early 70's and it's in great shape and not sloppy at all clearance wise. Not quite sure about its use for ammo with rifle dies.I hear pro's and con's so it's a bit confusing.
I'am not so much into groups as much as hitting the target but as you all know the whole idea of reloading is to find that sweet spot for our barrel!I want accurate ammo and will spend what I have to but if this will work I will use it.
Now pertaining to dies would appreciate any advice and opinions.
    I have a good supply of Berger,Sierra and Lapua bullets,4350,Varget powder,Hornady brass,and CCI 200 primers.
    Thanks!

Sounds like your set. Pick up a set of hornady or redding dies and load em up.

Had good luck with 4350 and rl 17 . I think the imr shoots a little bit better than the h in my gun.
Interbonds over rl 17 shoots one hole and runs about a 100 fps faster than 4350. Works great on deer and hogs.
Most of the other bullets I've tried in the 130 - 140gr range, 4350 is the way to go. Varget seems to work fine on the lighter end, 100 - 120gr bullets.
    Hope some of this helps.

    Reloading 6.5 creedmoor

This is my 123 amax varget load out of my shorty. Don't overthink it. By far the easiest caliber I've loaded for. Almost everything worked.

I use the whidden bushing dies.

100 fps faster...with R17 hmm. That would. Put me at 2930 with 142smk. VeryTempting !
Got 2920 fps with( power pro ) never did do any testing .
Might just break out the 6.5 Creed and see what PP will do? Think i will use mag. Primers??

Agreed the hornandy dies are excellent unless you want to get into bushing dies. Whidden makes a great set of bushings. Forster has some in The works.

140 vld with 41-43 gr of h4350 should do it. .01-.02 off the lands. Should end up around 2800-2840 fps.

In my gun, 140's run around 2700, 130's right around 2900 with rl17 but with 4350 it's around 2800. The 120's with the 17 is a tick over 3000 but low 29's with everything else.
    It's a savage 16 with a 22 in barrel.

I am not a seasoned reloader, especially for the 6.5CM. That being said I have found that 41.5 grains of IMR 4350 @ 2.8" shoots great in my rifle and I use the Hornady New Dimension dies with a Lee classic turret press. I have never experimented with it much because i just got it at Christmas but when I can shoot dime sized groups I am happy. I stopped looking right there and just started reloading them as I shoot. I am not a pro shooter or reloader by any means, but this combo shoots better than factory loads.
