Call dillon.
I am having an issue with my primers not going into the primer pocket properly! It's only on the Winchester .223 rem cases. seems like they are binding up and pinching a sliver of brass off of the primer pocket. Just wondering if any one has had an issue with this or can someone point out the problem!
Call dillon.
Not to pass the buck, but - call Dillon. They will walk you through any issue.

You don't know what you don't know.
Thanks!!! I will give them a call!
Crimped primer pockets?
If they are crimped primer pockets such as military brass you will need to do a slight chamfer and swedging to get the pockets back to normal.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
They are not mill brass. I do uniform all my primer pockets. And I do also keep my military brass separate from my .223 brass. I am using cci #400 for my 110fp and #41 for my RRA ar15. I haven't been in the reloading room for a couple of nights but I am gonna start to look at the case retaining wire to see if that has moved where there is more play in the case as the primer seats!
I have a pile of Federal 223 cases that had crimped primers....so just an FYI, but some "non-military" brass does have crimped primers....
I haven't come across any crimped win brass but every AE Tac I have shot had a crimped primer pocket. I use the RCBS swager on them. I am surprised you are taking brass of the case as the primer is softer. Is your primer ram out of alignment?
Maybe a silly question BUT...Do you have the correct shell plate?
Darrell
I talked to the guy at dillon today he also thought it was the case retaining wire!
Yes I do have the right shell plate in! Remember the only sill question is the one that is not asked lol!!
