Excellent!! Man, that's my next quest. To take one of those at a distance. Couple of the picture's look a little cold for me. Nice pictures and great shooting bowhunt32.

Here's a few pics (if they work) of a few coyotes killed this last season my my model 16FHSS in .243.

nice shooting....what bullets were used?
I cant get enough of this stuff!
Thanks guys.. The bullet used on these was the sierra 85 gr. bthp. It's fairly rough on them though. I've since loaded some 75 gr v-max's over varget. They seem to shoot awesome, but haven't seen what they do as far as fur damage. I will say the 85 gr bullets hits them extremely hard.
A few more.

That last picture is way cool! I don't know how you guys can shoot those innocent, defenseless, just looking for a meal, critters.
Nice shooting, btw.
It's really quite easy....let'm get in range, pick a spot, take a deep breath and slowly squeze. Nothing to it.Originally Posted by #40Fan

Looks like some nice Yotes you got there.

looks like there's something wrong with the "bolt" on this savage though .
Is the AR a 223 or 243 also?
The AR is standard .223. Although hasn't seen much use over the last year. I bought both the .243 (pictured) and a 22-250 predator hunter that saw nearly all of use last season. I've been working up loads for the new predator hunter here recently. I'll have a hard time not taking that one.
Those are some really nice shots, both the pictures and the yote's. Where are you by the way, nice country. I don't have but one Savage, an old 340 in tripple duce, nice gun but I don't shoot it well and I don't think I want to mess with it. I reciently put an AR together in .223 with a heavy varmint barrel on it, itching to give it a try, I often have a chance at a second shot and it takes just that extra second to fan the bolt and the AR will give me that nearly instant second shot. I usually shoot the 22-250 with 55 gr. V-Max and Varget, and it is a killer on them, "if I do my part"!!
I am going to start going after them when deer season is closed here, found a spot where the deer hunters go, but don't do anything for culling out the coyotes, ;D, time to do something with that.
