model 24 stock and forearm HELP

New to the site but can anyone tell me if a model 24v 223/20ga. barrel will interchange with a model 24 j-dl 22mag/20ga. barrel? The story is that I found a barrel hours away and would like to purchase it if they are in fact interchangeable.Thanks

I have no idea.

Pretty sure you could have a smith fit it for you but then you risk not having the 223 barrel not fit right afterwards.

Not saying it can't be done, I've got a 30-30 and a 16 gauge barrel set here that work together, just don't want you to screw anything up.
