    loctite on talley's

I have everything mounted on my 111. A red field mounted in talley lightweights. I lactated the rings, but not the bases to the action. Should i start fresh or will I be ok. Don't want to have to do it again, but really want the confidence in the mount. Any advise please.

Normally it's the other way around, Loctite the base screws and not the ring screws. As long as you tightened the base screws enough, it should be fine.

I normally wouldn't use milk when mounting a scope, but if that is your choice then I say the fresher the better.

    sorry, couldn't help myself.
