Very nice addition to a great looking collection. Congrats to your son!
My son turned 12 yesterday and his party is Sunday. He has been asking to go deer hunting this year so this is what he got for his birthday.
It adds nicely to or savage lineup. It has a junk scope and a few character spots on the stock but for $270 for a first centerfire it will do.
We will have to shorten the stock lop and we're gonna shorten the barrel to 17 or maybe 18in then he should be good for this year.
The whole gang of savages. Top to bottom. His Model 111 .243, Model 11 .308, Model 110e .270, my dads Model 110 30-06

I can't think of a better present, good job dad.
The stock on that 270 is amazing!
Hopefully he will like it. None of my guns are safe queens either. The .308 hasn't been shot yet though since I just built it and haven't had a free minute. I was just shooting the .270 at 500yds last Saturday
Is the tiger stripe aftermarket or stock from savage.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
Fine looking weapons, nice job. Congrats to your son, he's on the correct path I do believe!
Factory 110e stock but I refinished it. I stained it mahogany and put a gloss lacquer finish and wet sanded to 2000 grit and polished.
Very nice collection !! I look forward to buying my son his .270 this summer. We went and shot the model 64 .22lr today and the mosberg 12ga :) He loved the kick of the mossberg. I know he will love a .270 win :-)
