Great video! Love the way that big bullet thumps that steel at over 3/4 of a mile!

The amount of delay between firing and impact, is not something you hear to often, pretty cool.

RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.

Dean, have you tried these bullets?

If so, PM me your load, NOT to hot, LOL, I know how you like to push those bullets fast!

One day, I am going to try mine at this distance.

Yes Dennis you have to get your hands on some of that RL33, and stuff 98gr + of it, or 88gr of RL25 88gr of IMR7828, and that is not to hot there is plenty of wiggle room and will end up well past there.

Nicely done video thanks for sharing it.
That must be a relativly new offering from cutting edge. Their operation is only about an hour at most
from our camp in pa. ive been there, met dan the owner and got the tour. He told me his 300 gr wouldnt work in my 338 due to my 10 twist.
The 252s didnt do all that well either.
Now look at what the wind did to that bullet @1500 then think about what it would do to smaller less bc bullets.
Seeing is and at least should be believing. After seeing this video whats the general opinion of 7mms at 1 mile?
Id say grizz was holding for the center of that plate. if it were a deer how well would it have gone?
Id personaly like to see grizz do more of these videos with say a 6.5x284, a 7rem mag and a 300wsm.

Dean, what about Retumbo? I use 93.5 grns pushing 300 grain Berger's.

My barrel loves Retumbo with heavier bullets.

I never use anything slower than RL25 or IMR 7828, other than that RL33, that I have tried once with great results.

As a rule i watch very few videos grizz. Main reason is you usually only see what the maker wants you to see.
You could have kept shooting till you had a nice centered group but you didnt.
I for one appriciate that as it shows the problems and difficulty involved in a real world situation.

    56' I can't even begin to fathom that, especially when I can't even tolerate 6" of drop.LOL
