Looks like a 111 GL, wood stock, left hand. I wouldn't pay any more than about 350.00. Your SN would put it prior to 1995.
I have an opportunity to purchase this Savage 111. I could use some opinions from knowledgable Savage shooters regarding it's approximate age and value, as it appears to be a little older than Savage's current model. It's serial # is F4786XX and it's chambered in .22-250 with tang safety, plastic trigger guard, blind magazine, sights and hardwood stock. Inexpensive scope and rings. Condition is said to be 95% or better, showing little use.
I would be using this rifle primarily for varmint hunting, with a little paper-punching. I currently reload this caliber and would love to know its twist rate but that might be asking a bit much.
Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback, David_4.
