Savage 11 youth break in question

Just bought a TH youth 7mm-08 which my 3 boys will eventually begin shooting Remington Managed Recoils in. Is it best to break in with a standard load as opposed to the managed recoils? I would assume so, but would love some suggestions. Thanks!

That ammo won't make any difference at all. As for break in, initially clean it, then shoot it till accuracy falls off. Oh yeah, HAVE FUN !

So are you suggesting that it is not necessary to shoot 5 singles cleaning barrel after each. Then X number of 3 shot groups, cleaning after each group.

I forget all the details but includes pouring hot water and soap down the barrel, etc.

Would love to find a more simple method if it is effective.

No break in procedure has ever been "proven" to be better than another. This has been a great debate forever. Like I said above initially clean it, shoot it and clean again when accuracy falls off.
