    model 25 bolt dissasembly

Having trouble with the firing pin on my model 25 in 223. Occasionally it will barely dent the primer and cause a muss fire. Can anyone tell me how to dissemble the bolt so that I can check the pin out?

I've got the same. Issue. The bolt is extremely tight and hard to cycle. I'd like to take it apart but can't figure out how to do it. Mines a 223

    Allen,

Heating up the bolt to 300 degree Celsius and using a Pneumatic screwdriver did the job

Let us know what you find inside that is making the bolt lift so stiff and "gritty". The bolt on my hornet is very, very stiff. The bolt on my .222 is great.

as i recall you find an allen wrench that fits the end of the bolt. put the bolt on a mat or rug on the floor and align them so when you step on the bolt the wrench will loosen it.
yes thats right step on it. make sure thats a good fitting allen key.
