7mm-08 and 120 gr TTSX

Did not find much info on this load so I ran some test loads last week.

20" bbl
2.85 COL
Norma brass
CCI BR primers
47.5 gr of RL17 - pretty hot load
3085 FPS at 45dF - Will need to check for pressure signs in the summer

Recoil about like a 243.
Very mild.

I've got a buddy thats has 3 Remington 700 7 08's, he uses them on handicap hunts. He wanted something that would exit every time and shoot good enough in all 3 rifles for hunting.
Loaded the Barnes 120's over varget, I would have to look to see the exact load but all three guns shot them under an inch.
They killed over 30 deer with them this year, worked perfect every time.
