Can someone tell me a savage part number for a barrel nut for a stainless small shank action . Mine has the smooth one and want to have a the new one before action goes in for a t&t job

just to make sure this one is a splined nut correct, not the smooth
Yup, I took the PN from my rifle and it has the notched nut.
Ok thanks for the number but that part is a gunsmith only part OMG. I cant order anything from them with out go 70 miles to the nearest gunsmith
Call them and they will have you fax over a waiver releasing them from liability for selling you the part. That simple.
Really i will give that a try
Well while were on the subject of part numbers , does anyone know where i can some stainless screws for the trigger guard and I think the rear screw. Im working on a model 11 hog hunter, going for a half breed stainless/blued action
Rear trigger guard screw ss 5/32 hx - pn: 102527
rear action screw ss 5/32 hex - pn: 102993
front action screw ss 5/32 hex - pn: 102992

Since you're going to the time and expense of a t&t job, you might want to seriously consider getting a "trued" nut and recoil lug from NSS. The nut and lug are SS and the nut is splined. Just seems that it all goes hand in hand!
Just Sayin! Good Luck-Good Build!.........Jim ;-))
the nut that i supply gets trued also thats why I want a splined nut
