sights?

I am looking for open sights for my next build. who makes receiver peep sights and what are my options for front sights with a brake? I like the 45 acp setup in the picture post but was thinking of a light weight, large bore with a short 20" barrel so that is why I was thinking of the brake.

.45 acp is a very low pressure round. A muzzle brake will make no difference.

I was just using that that gun as an example for the sights. I was thinking of the 458 win mag or the 458x2 or maybe something in the 416s

You could build it just like normal and when you get the brake installed ha e the front sight installed. Either drill&tap, silver solder or use abanded sight that slips over the muzzle. Personally, if I was going to be swapping barrels at all I would use something that can be moved around incase headspace chnages at all during swaps.

I am the one with 45 ACP gun and it was shear chance that the front and rear sights worked out the way they did. My wife is very happy with the setup Which is great because that gun is hers.
