    Question on Savage sears

I have the old school 90 degree type sear. I'd like to use an SSS trigger. Can I swap this sear out for a new style sear to work in my action/trigger?

What exactly is an "old school 90 degree sear"?

Badguns and I work together. The sear is pre - accutrigger. I'm guessing it's a 2 screw? We will get some pics up. I came up with the 90 degree description.

The action is a bit add to. It's a long action. But it has a short action mag cut and short action mag box

Savage didn't make a true short action until 1998, so all short action rounds used the long action with the shelf and short mag box previous to that. There's nothing odd about it.

Here is the trigger in question. The question we are trying to solve is if we can use a new style sear, and a SSS trigger on this action.

Thanks,,,,,we do not have another sear to check, or we would have went that route, here is the link, can't seem to post a pic?

That is a Jard aftermarket trigger and sear kit. Yes you can just use a Savage sear and get a SSS trigger. But why would you want to ?

Will the new accu-trigger sears work/fit on the older non-accu-triggers
