    Axis bolt question

I was wondering if a savage 110 bolt in a axis will function just like the axis bolt? IE will load rounds and eject the spent rounds.

It is a different length and will not work properly. Asked Fred this question some time ago

Ok thanks. do you think it would be worth it to send my bolt to get a fishnet fluting done on it?

Have one. Not only ismthe fluting beautiful, but Fred also cuts it to lighten the lift effort by close to 50%. My Axis action functions incredibly smoothly.

So should I send them my current bolt to have them cut it? Or should I buy a new bolt for $120 ( savage replacement part )?

You should address that question to Fred (sharpshooter on the forum). Sending him a PM, email, or calling would probably be the way to go.
