    Receiver thread depth

    Hi everyone!

I'm trying to get a very general consensus on what your receiver thread depth is measured from receiver face to the bolt nose. My 110 small shank long action measures .685" but since it was built in 1958 I don't know if this changed since then.

    Thanks for your help!

It will depend on the bolt head. A short action with a standard bolt head will be around .700". If it is a magnum, it will be less because the bolt head is thicker.
