Mounting a bipod on B&C Tactical?

With a flat bottom stock like the B&C Medalist/Tactical stock, how cam I mount a bipod so that it doesn't pivot? (i.e. spin around the sling swivel stud and scratching/gouging the stock)

tighten it up more, or buy a Harris #9 adapter for flat bottom stocks.

10-4 on tightening it up more. I've got a Harris on my BCTM now without the adapter and it's fine.

I've shot my Harris 6-9 on my B&C without a problem manytimes , no gouging or slipping.
