    Scope clearity.Blurriness.

I have a Cabelas Pine Ridge scope and it doesn't seem to be all that clear.I assume it should be as clear as a pair of binoculars.I cant see the rings on a target or inside the bulls eye.I can tell the bulls eye orange. And where the orange of the bulls eye meets the other color of the target,Its blurry. Is this normal?I have unlocked the lock ring and tried to focus it.It got better but still not perfect.Maybe I'm asking to much??

Cheap scopes do not have the quality glass to be as clear as one would like. If you want clear glass you have to be willing to drop some coin. Seems they start becoming better starting in the $300 range depending on the brand.

I wouldn't expect too much from any scope with Cabela's on the label.

It seems ok on lower power, but gets a little blurry on higher power.I thought I was asking to much.First scope that I even noticed blurriness.I have had Burris and Bushnell in the past.

I took the gun back to cabelas and they swapped the scope out for me.I picked the Nikon Prostaff and I paid the difference.I should be happy now.I will shoot this weekend and see.

Went to the range and did pretty good I feel.Had it bore sighted and it was off a lot.I wasn't even hitting paper.I member gave me some advise.I took the bolt out to see where it was pointing compared to the scope.I was hitting way left. The end result was good.[IMG][/IMG]The grouping was getting good.It looks good enough for deer, elk hunting.I will get it a little closer when the weather warms up.Here's a pic of how I shoot at the range. This range has spotting scopes and vises for use if you choose to.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]This scope is very clear compared to the Cabelas scope I had.I appreciate all the tips I get on here.I'm more of a handgunner.
