you will need a lug for a accustock,
if you do not want to do any mods

Hey everyone,
I have a Savage 11 Trophy XP in 223. I'm putting a 24" HB from a model 10 on it, and putting it into a 10 PC stock. My problem is that the recoil lug on my rifle currently doesn't fit into the space in the 10 PC accustock. The recoil lug is too thick and won't enter the gap. I've been told that I can grind/file the front side of the lug down to make it fit, but I'm wondering if there is a better solution. Is there specific aftermarket lugs that would fit snuggly? I am getting the barrel changed over next week and would like to have a solution for this prior.
Thanks

Does Midway ship to Canada?
Thanks for the link, explains my issue better.
Midway however does not ship to Canada...
Try Hirsch Precision for an accustock recoil lug.

Try Midway, PTG makes recoil lugs in 0.187, 0.200, 0.250 (What is normally sold), and 0.300. These are all standard stock lugs not accustock.
The stock lug is normally closer to the two smaller lugs. The 0.250 originally would not go into my Savage Model 14 walnut stock
