so for the past few weeks i been working on my new savage rifle. its a axis 308, the barrel has been ported and i installed a timmey trigger got it down to 2 lbs. i also reinforced the stock with metal rods and epoxy to stiffen the whole thing up, sitting up top is a egw one piece scope mount and a vortex crossfire 2 scope,, then i painted it be i was bored lol. what do you guys thing?

    I dig the camo job.

And, NO, I still haven't tried to do one yet.

Have you fired it with the barrel ports already? How much difference in the recoil with & without? Just curious.

    Otherwise, lookin' good.

    Nice job.

Camo is easy, getting the nerve to rattle can your gun is the hard part.

So, you're telling me the brake is cut to annoy the guys next to you at the range?

    Cool.
All my 30 cal rifles have a brake with the ports aiming back & away. Just the way I like 'em.

I did do my camp my self . I used me air brush and that was easy to do. I only put on a Leopold 3x9x40 on it with a two peace hold. And Leopold scope clamps.
