First Savage! Have a question

Well I traded my father inlaw my Remington 700 30-06 for a Model 110 E in the same caliber. My dad has several Savages so I wanted to give them a try. I haven't shot it yet, but everything about it is nicer than 700, smoother action, more comfortable.

Anyway, the front sight is broken and the rear sight has been replaced with a nice aftermarket sight however, part of that is missing too. Even though I have it a scope mounted on it, I would still like to replace the open sights with original parts. The problem is I put the serial number in Savage's parts finder and it says my rifle is older than what they can service. The serial number is E4748xx. The age would be interesting to know, but mostly I am trying to find out if Savage still uses the same sights as they did back then or if I need to track down some old ones. It doesn't have to be original equipment, but I think it would be nice that way.

Any info is appreciated.
