Is the very nice matte finish on the Trophy Hunters just bluing, or is it another type of coating or treatment? And, for Sharpshooter can you work with that finish for converting a RH to LB RP? Thanks in advance.

Let's try this again.
The one who dies with the most toys still dies--except in Christ.
The metal action and barrel is now media blasted and blued to give the matte finish. The trigger guard and DBM bottom cap are synthetic (plastic) with a matte finish that matches the action and barrel closely.
The barreled actions are shot-peened for the matte finish. I'm not sure if the finish is bluing or black parkerizing.

According to their site they are blued. Mine will be delivered next week before I can verify anything on my gun

Thank you guys. It's about the nicest matte finish I've seen.

It is really nice! I have a barrel off of one in .260 and the stuff is great. I believe it would be extremely resistant to rust, etc.
I went to bass pro today and held one and it just looks parkerized to me but it looked uniformed and nice
