    Help finding 224 TTH dies

I am in the process of building a wildcat rifle. Wildcat enough that I can not find dies for it. I am trying to build a 224 TTH. This is the 22-6mm with a 4 degree shoulder difference.

Anyone know where I can find some dies?

They are not showing any. And, they are not doing custom dies at this time.

If you build a 22-6mm Hornady sells the dies and even have it in their load manual. It is Lonnie Hummel (sp?) pet cartridge. Tim

Looks like Lee does. They have a $150 set up charge, $46 a set on dies and a 3 month lead time.

This is looking more and more like a 22-6mmAI build. lol

The problem, Boots, is that it is the 224 Texas Trophy Hunter. And since I am in Texas........

I hear ya. Call it the 224 TTH-AI since the 22-6mmAI is pretty much just that.

Seriously though good luck with your build, and BTW I believe Lee isn't doing any custom dies either right now.

It was just about a year ago. They were listed as 22-6mm. Give them a call.

RCBS has the 22-6mm and the 22-6mmAI. The shoulder is a little different on the 3.

    224 TTH 26 degree
    22-6mm 30 degree
    22-06mmAI 40 degree

The 7th edition Hornady manual shows the 22-6mm with a 26º shoulder. With that in mind, you may want to try to find these: http://www.hornady.com/store/22-6mm-.224-2-Die-Set/

    Good luck,

    224 TTH 26 degree
    22-6mm 30 degree
    22-06mmAI 40 degree
6REM has a 26 degree shoulder, TTH is nothing but a necked down 6REM.
