    new sporter action questions

So I'm new to the site and savage center fires. I own a 10 ML-II and have shot a handful of rifles and strikers and recently decided to build a rifle from the ground up. I chose the sporter action, short with WSM bolt face. a 5.5 contour fluted krieger in .284 1-9 twist and a PTG 7mm WSM reamer (stock I'm still up in the air on) So I picked up the action today and was expecting a controlled round feed and its a push feed. not ejector in the action body. i put some empty brass in the face and it fits. so I'm sure that i cant put a CRF bolt head on it and have it eject because i would have no ejector. is this something that they are changing? i see another post asking about the push feed so I chimed in also. thanks guys

The controlled round feeds were discontinued when the changed over to the center feed magazines.
