So today I ordered a savage axis sr 308 so I can do my 450 bushmaster build. 299.99 plus tax I thought was the good deal.
Has anyone built a custom rifle out of an axis sr? Any tips or suggestions?

The main reason was it was cheap and if for some reason I don't like the build I will play with the sr.
I built mine off the SR model. They're still just an Axis action nothing special about them.
