4.41" is centerfeed, which is the current production style (and hopefully Savage leaves it alone for a couple decades).
Either will work well.
I am in the hunt for an action but unsure what the differences are in the spacing. I realize the 4.27 is 4.27 inches screw to screw but which models had this spacing or is it an age issue, meaning the newer actions have the 4.4 etc.
I bought a stock on this site and want to match the action or possibly mod the stock. Thanks for the input.
