-10????
Is that a real temperature or did you make that up. That's arctic circle temps.
In July.
'Scuse me while I whip this out...!
We were throwing boiling water out the window and watching it turn into snow no joke
Its 5* here right now and supposed to get down to -18* tonight with winds gusting upwards of 20mph. I think the radio was saying wind chills in the -40* range. I would definitely trade for t-shirt weather tonight. I like winter but -18* is going to be my limit.
Enjoy it Frank.
PS- also glad to see that young lady practicing good trigger control technique.

Stay warm gents.
And boots, as for the proper handling of a loaded weapon - we preach the "No Room For Mistakes" sermon before, during & after weapons training & use.
Wouldn't have it any other way.

Beautiful scenery. Reminds me of home.
I'm hoping that'll be "home" in the next year or so. It's great. No cell signal, no cable service, 2 wells - shallow & deep, electricity, lots of jungle & about 10 acres cleared for growing.
Even looking at the possibility of raising livestock.

I'd take all of that short of no cell. I have to keep connected or find a different job.
I can understand about being connected. I'm at that point in my life where unconnected is just fine by me.
As long as I'm not disconnected.
Job?
What's that? Are you using foul language here on forum???

just dont be parking your boat under those oaks without a good full cover on it frank.lol
Yeah, that's one of those things we learn the hard way. Always starts out as a great idea.
The acorns are good for hog attraction, though.

Would there be GATORS in that there swamp
Gators?
Only a few small ones. 4 - 5 ft long or so. Just got to be careful crossing the water. Always look to see if that log you're about to hold on to has eyes.
Some pretty nasty snapping turtles, too.

LOL your worried about logs that bite
woke up a few nights ago to a bear eating the lava rocks out of my BBQ
then a few hours later I sure I herd him taking a dump
drybean
Bears are few but here nonetheless. Usually not too much of a concern.
Whenever we're hiking the jungle everyone has a sidearm, rifle & knife. Big critters can be seen. Snakes & gators are sneaky.
And I hate sneaky snakes.
