    Some unexpected awesomeness

Today in Springfield Missouri we got about 8-10in snow with 15-25mph winds. It was in the single digits and wind chill was 0°.
I wanted to get out and do some long range .22 shooting to make myself a better rounded shooter instead of just no wind fair weather shooter.
The dogs went with me and about 23 round down range my magazine bearded up and the round appeared stuck in the mag not feeding. I pulled the mag out and 2 rounds flew out of the mad into the snow and gone I said "**** it" Charlie our mutt dog (on the right was playing of behind me immediately ran over to me and layed on my lower back butt area and after a couple minutes he made a noise to Pistol the lab/pit mix (on the left) pistil then cane right over and layed on my legs for the remainder of the shooting. I assume they thought I was in trouble and were keeping me warm.
Just wanted to share how awesome dogs are even if they are strays like both of these guys are dumped in the country to be adopted by us.

On to the shooting this was the last mag I shot. today 300yds 15-25mph windsI had 4 round in the mag and 1 round was a light primer strike 2 high left one mid right

Most of my best dogs over the years have been strays that adopted us. :-)
