    224 tth

So, the Texas State Rifle Assoc had a story this month on a cartridge I was unfamiliar with. Now, I have decided to make it my next build.

This is the 224 TTH (Texas Trophy Hunter). A 6mm Rem necked down to .224. And sending a 75 gr bullet out at 3,650 fps just sounds like fun.

Thought I had a barrel in the closet I could use. Had a nice Model 12 22-250. But, it appears it is a 1-12 or 1-14 twist. And the 224 TTH needs a 8 or 9 twist.

So, any good ideas on where to find someone who could re-chamber a barrel for me?

    Sinman could help you.

I would HIGHLY recommend chambering in 22/6mm AI. 75 gr AMax at 4000 is a LOT of fun. Rather flat shooting as well. :)

Keep mine in the 3900/3950 range and coat bullets with WS2/Danzac.

Thanks much. I was trying to remember his name. He chambered my 243 wssm for me.
